Role Description

This is an on-site, part-time position based in Be'er Sheva for a Teaching and Research Laboratory Engineer. The role involves supporting teaching and research activities by managing and maintaining laboratory equipment, implementing safety protocols, and assisting in experimental setup. Additional responsibilities include training students and researchers on equipment usage, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining clear records of laboratory operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing, maintaining, and operating advanced laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and risk management techniques
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in laboratory settings
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train students and researchers effectively
  • Organizational skills with the ability to document and manage detailed laboratory records
  • Knowledge or experience in relevant areas of engineering, science, or technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Laboratory Sciences, or a related field (Master's or higher degree preferred)
  • Familiarity with research processes and methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in academic or research settings is advantageous
