Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate domestic tax matters across the Group and its subsidiaries in Vietnam.
• Review and provide tax advice on complex transactions, business models, investments, restructuring plans and major contracts.
• Manage tax risks and ensure the Group's operations are conducted in compliance with local tax regulations while achieving tax efficiency.
• Support and coordinate tax audits, tax inspections and disputes with tax authorities; provide technical guidance and resolution strategies for material tax matters.
• Monitor tax policy developments and participate in tax policy consultation and recommendation activities where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain tax governance frameworks, internal tax guidelines and tax risk management processes.
• Coordinate with business units, finance teams, legal teams and external advisors to ensure timely identification and resolution of tax issues.
• Participate in M&A, financing, investment and other strategic projects from a tax perspective.
Key requirements:
• At least 6+ years of experience in tax advisory, tax consulting or in-house tax management.
• Strong technical knowledge of local tax regulations, including CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT and tax administration.
• Practical experience in handling tax audits, tax inspections, tax controversy and complex tax issues.
• Experience in Big4 tax practice, large corporations or multinational groups is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess tax risks and propose practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CTA, Lawyer Certificate, etc.) are an advantage.
