We are looking for a Tax and General Accountant to join our
Finance team and play a key role in managing the company's tax,
accounting, and support finance operations. This position will focus heavily
on tax compliance and tax risk management, while also overseeing general
accounting activities and supporting broader finance functions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, extensive
hands-on tax experience, and practical exposure to working directly with tax
authorities. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and
capable of managing both operational and compliance matters in a
fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Management & Compliance
- Take full ownership of all tax matters, including tax filing, tax
- finalization, tax declarations, and tax reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnam tax regulations, including VAT,
- CIT, PIT, and FCT.
- Review daily transactions and business activities to identify tax risks
- and ensure tax compliance.
- Proactively monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on
- company operations.
- Work directly with tax authorities, auditors, and tax consultants during
- tax audits, inspections, and inquiries.
- Prepare supporting documents and reconciliation for tax reviews and
- finalization.
Finance & General Accounting
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure all transactions are
- accurately and timely recorded.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other internal
- reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and
- internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives to strengthen accounting
- efficiency and control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Strong hands-on tax experience is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT).
- Proven experience in tax filing, tax finalization, tax audits, and
- handling tax-related matters.
- Practical experience working directly with tax authorities is highly
- preferred.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial
- controls.
- Experience in treasury, cash flow management, and finance operations
- is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and risk awareness.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or tech
- environment.
- Can spoken and written English communication skills.
