This role is responsible for designing and driving strategies that enable employees to grow their careers and develop the skills needed for the future. This role builds a cohesive ecosystem for career development, internal mobility, and emerging talent growth, ensuring that every employee has visibility, opportunity, and support to progress within the organization.
This role acts as a bridge between business capability needs, employee aspirations and learning solutions, contributing directly to talent retention, engagement and employer branding.

Job Responsibilities:

Career Development Strategy and Enablement

  • Design and implement a career development framework that provides clarity on pathways, skills, and growth opportunities across all job families.
  • Create tools and guidelines to support managers and employees in career and development conversations.
  • Partner with Business HR and functional leaders to embed development planning into the performance and talent management cycle.
  • Develop and maintain career architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational design and future skills strategy.

Internal Mobility and Employee Growth

  • Build and promote internal mobility programs to encourage career progression across divisions and levels.
  • Partner with HR Operations and Talent Acquisition to streamline internal move processes and communication
  • Introduce visibility tools (e.g. internal career site, talent marketplace, or mobility campaigns) to connect talent with opportunities.
  • Track internal moves, promotion rates, and retention to measure impact and identify growth barriers.

Emerging Talent and Early-Career Programs

  • Design and manage emerging talent and graduate development programs that accelerate readiness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition to strengthen the PVA's appeal to you and high-potential talent.
  • Monitor progress, retention, and development of early-career employees to ensure consisten pipeline growth.
  • Support line managers and mentors in coaching and developing new talents through structured experiences.

Employee Development Initiatives

  • Partner with the Learning and Capability to align learning content and programs with career development pathways.
  • Introduce mentoring, coaching and stretch assignment programs to support personalized development journeys.
  • Drive employee awareness and participation in development opportunities through internal campaigns and communication.
  • Foster a growth mindset culture where continuous learning and self-development are embedded in the employee experience.

Measurement Analytics and Program Evaluation

  • Define KPIs for career and talent development initiatives
  • Use talent data and employee insights to identify development gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • Report key findings and recommendations to HR SLG, EXCO and business leadership on progress and outcomes.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to Talent Development, Career Management or Talent Acquisition/ HR Operations

Knowledge and skill

  • Demonstrated ability to design or deliver early-career, graduate, or internal mobility programs.
  • Strong program management skills - able to translate strategy into structured execution.
  • Experience collaborating with universities, external partners, or internal stakeholders on talent pipelines.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to link development outcomes with business metrics
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
  • Passion for developing people and fostering an internal growth culture.
