Job Description

Talent Acquisition: (60%)

Coordinate and execute recruitment activities under supervisor guidance.

Maintain updated placement lists and job opportunities.

Conduct pre-screening and interviews (phone/face-to-face) for assigned roles.

Coordinate with hiring managers for interview arrangements.

Build and maintain recruiting networks through industry contacts, associations, social media, and employees.

Develop and maintain qualified candidate pipelines (e.g., Internship/Trainee programs).

Handle recruitment administration and recordkeeping.

Maintain social media and employer branding presence to promote job openings and engage candidates.

Documentation & Reporting: (30%)

Maintain and update applicant and employee data in HR systems (e.g., Oracle Recruiting).

Prepare and maintain accurate HR reports (Turnover, Headcount, etc.).

Ad-hoc: (10%)

Support special projects as required.

Report project results and provide recommendations to management.

Requirements

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Foreign Languages, Business & Economics, Law, or Social Sciences/Humanities.

Experience

Minimum 2+ years of recruitment/HR experience in a mid-sized organization, preferably in manufacturing.

Abilities

Mass recruitment experience is required.

Skilled in candidate sourcing, phone screening, and pre-onboarding coordination.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across multiple levels internally and externally.

Proficient with Microsoft applications and HR/recruitment databases.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
