Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition cum P&C Business Partner Manager with strong expertise in business partnering to drive people strategies that align with and support organizational objectives. This role will be pivotal in connecting and engaging with both SSC and Store Operations teams to attract top talent, ensure seamless onboarding, and enhance overall performance.
As a role model, the job holder will foster a culture of recognition, collaboration, and excellence. Working closely with the Head of P&C, he/she will lead impactful initiatives across talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management. By leveraging data-driven insights, he/she will inspire team members to excel, strengthen employee engagement, and deliver an exceptional employee experience
Job responsibilities:
People & Culture Business Partner
- Act as a trusted business partner, aligning our people strategy with the overall business strategy, proactively identifying, and resolving any people-related issues, and ensuring consistent treatment of team members in accordance with our Values
- Collaborate with Functional Leaders to develop organizational structures, establish talent pipelines, and create succession plans for critical roles
- Assist in workforce planning for SSS and Store, including labor budgeting, labor cost management, workforce composition, and addressing manpower gaps
- Design mechanisms and initiatives to enhance motivation and recognition among team members, driving overall productivity and engagement levels
- Develop and execute engagement events to foster internal engagement, promote our values, and support the implementation of cultural change programs
- Collaborate with other People and Culture teams internally to establish effective processes and practices for onboarding, performance management, talent development, rewards, engagement, and retention
- Manager the annual performance and salary review process, and manage individual performance improvement cases
- Handle disciplinary cases, grievances, and complaints, while identifying areas for improvement
- Provide support for ad hoc projects and perform additional duties as required
Talent Acquisition
- Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent across diverse retail roles.
- Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and final hiring recommendations.
- Partner with department leaders to assess workforce needs and develop clear, targeted job specifications.
- Leverage multiple sourcing channelssocial media, job fairs, and professional networksto identify and engage qualified candidates.
- Build and sustain a robust talent pipeline to support immediate staffing requirements and long-term organizational growth.
- Monitor and evaluate recruitment metrics to optimize processes, enhance candidate experience, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Serve as the local liaison with the regional Center of Excellence (COE), supporting projects, reporting, and strategic initiatives
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HRBP, Talent Acquisition or related practices of which 3 years in managerial role, experience in retail industry is advantage
- Analytical with ability to solve complex problems
- Strong sense of governance in a matrixed environment
- Strong communication in English, influencing and collaboration skills
- Growth mindset with keen interest to drive improvements.
