Navigos Search's client in manufacturing sector is seeking a Digital / System Expert who will take ownership of end-to-end planning systems and support business stakeholders across supply chain and production planning functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring system reliability, driving continuous improvement, and enabling data-driven decision making through advanced technologies, including AI/ML forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Ownership & Optimization
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for planning systems, ensuring they are properly configured, maintained, and optimized for production planning and supply chain needs.
- Continuously enhance system performance to deliver accurate planning outputs and reliable business results.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and propose effective IT/system solutions.
2. Business & Technology Bridging
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Support new system rollouts, feature enhancements, and integration projects across supply chain, planning, and operations teams.
- Guide stakeholders on system capabilities, best practices, and improvement opportunities.
3. Data Integrity & Compliance
- Maintain strong data governance, ensuring planning master data, configurations, and transactions meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and resolve system inaccuracies to support error-free planning cycles.
4. Advanced Analytics & Innovation
- Lead initiatives that improve planning accuracy through automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics.
- Apply AI/ML-based forecasting and optimization methods to enhance demand and supply planning processes.
- Drive continuous improvement programs to increase efficiency and operational performance.
5. User Enablement & Risk Management
- Deliver training and documentation for users to ensure effective planning system usage.
- Manage system risks and ensure system stability, availability, and performance.
- Provide actionable insights to support planning, supply chain, and operations leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in planning systems, production planning, or relevant supply chain functions in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP, SAP APO, or other advanced planning platforms. Experience with SAP Fiori interfaces is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, data flow, and integration points across supply chain and production planning processes.
- Understanding of AI/ML forecasting techniques used in planning (preferred but not mandatory). - Ability to analyze issues and propose effective system solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English.
