Implement and maintain core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, storage systems, operating systems, and databases.
Take responsibility for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure components in assigned projects, ensuring alignment with internal standards and compliance requirements.
Ensure high system availability, performance, and security through effective server hardening, patch management, and configuration management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end‑to‑end server administration, including capacity monitoring, security patching, performance tuning, log analysis, and obsolescence management.
Execute server installation and configuration for new environments (Red Hat, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms), ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
Implement and maintain server hardening measures such as OS baseline configuration, vulnerability remediation, access control enforcement, and audit policy configuration.
Manage database synchronization, backup, and restore procedures across multi‑site environments.
Work with internal and external partners to communicate project activities, progress, and milestones.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement IT infrastructure architecture for relevant IT projects.
Coordinate with local vendors to troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Provide regular updates and reports on IT infrastructure matters to relevant teams.
Key Requirements
Mandatory
Proficiency in English.
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in IT roles, ideally as a System Administrator, System Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong understanding of server hardening, patch management, and security configuration frameworks.
Hands-on experience with operating systems (Red Hat, Windows Server), enterprise hardware platforms, backup/recovery solutions, performance monitoring tools, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle database administration is an advantage.
Experience in server and database architecture design is preferred.
Familiarity with VMware virtualization platforms.
