About the Role
We are looking for a System Administrator to manage and optimize Masan's core IT infrastructure, supporting business applications across our portfolio companies (WCM, WEC, Phuc Long, Supra, and more).
You will own the health and performance of our data center — virtualization, Linux servers, and the full Microsoft enterprise stack — while also supporting resource administration on the Cloud (Google, Azure, AWS). This role requires strong hands-on infrastructure expertise, a proactive approach to risk and incident management, and close collaboration with cross-functional IT teams to keep systems reliable, secure, and cost-efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, upgrade, and maintain the health of storage systems and Linux servers supporting business applications across the group's portfolio companies.
- Administer and optimize virtualization infrastructure, ensuring proper resource allocation, performance, scalability, and system availability.
- Administer, deploy, and operate Microsoft services including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange (on-premise/hybrid), Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, File Server, WSUS, and SharePoint Online.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Licensing usage to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
- Design and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency, including Logging, Backup, Monitoring, and Automation systems.
- Identify and resolve risks and incidents related to the systems above; research and propose new technologies to improve operations or optimize costs.
- Deploy, operate, and manage access control for resources on the Cloud environment (Google, Azure, AWS) according to company projects.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructure activity (Grafana and Prometheus).
- Monitor and alert on cloud usage costs allocated by service, project, and department.
- Identify and resolve risks and incidents related to Cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar system administration role.
- Proven ability to design and deploy infrastructure for enterprises (Cloud design/deployment experience is a strong plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Good reading comprehension of technical documentation in English.
- Relevant professional certifications.
Nice to have
- Certified: Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience supporting infrastructure across multiple business units or subsidiaries.
- Familiarity with hybrid on-prem/Cloud environments.
