Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual who will play a key role in building and nurturing a vibrant learning community while also managing essential administrative tasks. This role requires a blend of creative thinking to engage learners and support their academic journey, combined with attention to detail in handling administrative functions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Community Building:
- Organize engaging activities, networking events, and online initiatives to strengthen the sense of community among learners in Vietnam.
- Facilitate connections, encourage feedback, and foster a sense of belonging.
- Proactively reach out to students, creating a welcoming environment for communication and engagement.
- Foster a sense of belonging by encouraging student involvement, discussions, and feedback to continually improve the community experience.
Mentorship & Learner Support:
- Provide personalized guidance to help learners navigate their academic and career paths.
- Conduct counseling sessions to help students identify strengths and make informed decisions.
- Address academic and non-academic challenges, offering support and resources for success.
Referral & Resource Management:
- Direct learners to appropriate internal and external resources for specialized support.
- Assist faculty and staff by ensuring students needs align with academic policies.
Customer Service & Support:
- Address learner inquiries regarding programs, services, and registration, ensuring timely responses.
Onboarding & Administrative Support:
- Oversee smooth onboarding for new learners and ensure continuous support throughout their journey.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data management, reporting, and maintaining learner records.
Skills Required
- Experience in academic counseling, student services, or education administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability in event planning, workshops, and community engagement.
- Skilled at building rapport and trust with students, faculty, and partners.
- Knowledge of academic advising, career development, and counseling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning platforms (a plus).
Employment Type: Full-time. Working Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM (Monday - Friday).
