As we continue our ambitious expansion, optimizing our supply chain is critical to our success. We are now seeking a talented Supply Planning Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are always available to our customers, at the right time and in the right quantity.
The Role
In this key role, you will act as the crucial link between market demand and our company's supply capabilities. You will be responsible for translating the consensus demand forecast (from our Demand Planning team) into achievable production schedules (MPS) and material requirement plans (MRP).
Your primary goal is to strike the optimal balance between maximizing customer service levels and minimizing inventory holding costs and operational disruptions.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule for our in-house factory and third-party co-packers, ensuring the plan is balanced against actual production capacities.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Execute the MRP process based on the production schedule to determine the precise quantity and timing for all raw materials and packaging.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels for both finished goods and materials. Set and maintain appropriate safety stock targets. Proactively identify and mitigate risks of slow-moving, obsolete (SLOB), or out-of-stock items.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams. Track plan adherence, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and proactively communicate any potential supply risks to the business.
- S&OP Process: Prepare and present key data, performance metrics (KPIs), and analysis for the monthly Supply Review meeting as part of the formal S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycle.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar role (Supply Planner, Production Planner, or Material Planner).
- Experience in the FMCG (Food & Beverage) industry is highly preferred.
- Mandatory: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and basic level of Power BI.
- Significant Advantage: Hands-on experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good command of English (for reading documents, writing emails, and using systems).
