Job Summary
The position is responsible for planning raw materials for the manufacturing plant according to short-term and medium-term plans. It is also responsible for controlling raw material inventory which is based on stock policies to ensure adequate and OTIF supply of raw materials to meet production plan as expectaion and requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Calculate and plan raw material demand according to short-term and medium-term production plans for a period of 1 to 4 months for the assigned categories of the specified factory
- Calculate and create a detailed delivery schedule by daily/by weekly for next 02 weeks
- Control raw material inventory levels within the limits of inventory policies.
- Monitor delivery activities and the delivery schedule.
- Record data and report the results of raw material delivery activities, such as OTIF (On Time In Full) and OOS (Out of Stock) rate
- Coordinate and address any issues arising from the delivery of goods from suppliers to the raw material warehouse.
