About Our Client
Our client is looking for a
Supply Planner to manage supply planning for the Vietnam market. This role focuses on inventory control, stock planning, and keeping master data accurate.
Job Description
Stock Planning
Create and follow up purchase orders (including drop shipments).
Work with Procurement for third-party products and Logistics for shipments.
Choose transport carriers, negotiate rates, and manage contracts.
Inventory Control
Monitor inventory levels and adjust when demand changes.
Ensure service levels are met.
Slow-Moving & Dead Stock
Review slow-moving, expired, or phased-out materials.
Carry out depletion plans and track sales progress.
Shortage Management
Report shortages quickly and arrange supply from other sites.
Master Data
Maintain material master data and set up planning tools (MACU table, PIR, Source List).
SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)
Lead weekly meetings to improve order processing and customer service.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of supply planning experience (textile or chemical industry preferred).
- Knowledge of supply planning tools; SAP experience required.
- Good English skills (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Service-minded, team-oriented, and adaptable to global culture.
