1. Purpose of the Role
Supply Chain Operations Director is responsible for leading and coordinating the full supply chain lifecycle, including stock demand planning, sourcing, buying, import management, warehousing, and logistics & distribution.
This role ensures timely, cost-efficient, compliant, and reliable supply availability to support the commercial needs of M-Commerce Business Unit (Market Expansion Services for Global and Local consumers brand).
Supply Chain also safeguards working-capital efficiency through optimized inventory levels and strong supplier management of M-Commerce businesses.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Demand Planning & Supply Coordination
- Lead the demand planning cycle with Business Units; consolidate forecasts and convert them into supply and replenishment plans.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and sales trends to adjust supply plans proactively.
- Ensure balanced stock levels aligned with sales cycles, avoiding shortages and overstock.
B. Stock Sourcing & Buying Management
- Manage M-commerce supplier selection, negotiation, performance evaluation, and cost optimization across product categories.
- Oversee end-to-end stock purchasing execution (purchase requests purchase orders delivery follow-up).
- Maintain supplier compliance, contract governance, and quality standards.
C. Import Management
- Lead all import operations, including shipment scheduling, documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with forwarders.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, HS codes, duty/tax requirements, and regulatory controls.
- Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, or cross-border risks in a timely manner.
D. Warehousing & Inventory Control
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory tracking, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and system audits.
- Maintain optimal warehouse capacity, safety practices, and cost efficiency.
E. Logistics & Distribution
- Manage domestic logistics, transportation partners, and last-mile distribution to ensure OTIF (on-time, in-full) delivery.
- Optimize routing, freight cost, and delivery performance.
- Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient movement of goods across all nodes.
F. Supply Chain Performance Monitoring
- Define and track supply chain KPIs across demand planning, purchasing, import, warehouse, and logistics.
- Provide performance dashboards and monthly operational reviews to the Company management.
- Recommend corrective actions for bottlenecks related to supply, inbound delays, or stock imbalances.
G. Team Leadership & Organization Development
- Build and manage the supply chain team across planning, purchasing, import, warehouse, and logistics functions.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and talent development for long-term capability building.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline.
H. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Business Units to understand sales demand, promotional plans, and campaign readiness.
- Coordinate with Finance on budgeted purchasing, payment cycles, working-capital impact, and cost structures.
- Align with Legal/Compliance on import regulations and vendor contracts.

4. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, import, warehousing, and logistics.
- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in retail, FMCG, trading, e-commerce, or distribution. Experience in Beauty and Personal Care category is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in demand planning, sourcing, and inventory optimization.
- Deep knowledge of import regulations, customs process, INCOTERMS, HS code classification, and cross-border logistics.
- Experience with ERP systems (Orcle/SAP/Odoo) and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, financial literacy, and vendor negotiation capability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
