Job Summary
The Supply Chain Finance Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling logistics-related expenses while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies. The role oversees monthly closing and consolidation of logistics costs, conducts variance analysis to identify cost drivers, and develops dashboards for cost monitoring. It also supports forecasting, validates logistics payments, and provides financial analysis to support operational decisions and logistics improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Logistics Expense Control
- Collaborate with the business partners and management accounting team (BBF) to control monthly landing of logistic expense, including Operational cost, Fixed cost, Tranportation cost and other logistic activities initiated by Sales / Shoper Marketing / Logistic team.
- Financial Closing & Consolidation
- Perform monthly financial closing and consolidation for logistics costs of Masan Consumer including domestic and international martket.
- Include pertinent review, control of commercial proposal in terms of accounting impacts, develop efficient closing processes to meet both financial and management accounting timeline.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of logistics cost records in compliance with internal accounting policies.
- Logistics Cost Analysis
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between planned budgets and actual results for Logistic cost including Operational cost, Fixed cost, Tranportation cost and other logistic.
Identify cost trends, inefficiencies, and key cost drivers to support management decision-making.
- Develop and maintain cost analysis models, centralized data repository or dashboard for Logistic expenses, combining with non-financial data and ratios.
- Logistics Cost Analysis
- Implement robust validation procedures for payment and reimbursement documents associated with Logistic expenses. Implement clear documentation standards and approval matrices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective process control.
- Logistics Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare Logistic performance reports, including Monthly Rolling Forecasts (MUF), Annual Plan (AP), ensuring timely submission and maintaining high standards of data accuracy.
- Logistics Financial Evaluation
- Prepare financial analyses and cost calculations to support logistics-related projects and investment decisions.
- Evaluate the financial effectiveness and ROI of logistics improvement initiatives.
- Audit & Compliance Support
- Ensure accurate justification and complete documentation for all tax and audit requirements related to Logistic expenses.
- Support the planning and execution of quarterly finished goods inventory counts at distribution centers.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
- Other ad-hoc analysis, including building business case, and other analysis as assigned by superior.
