SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR (FMCG)
1. Job Purpose
Lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence across demand planning, procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Supply Chain Strategy
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and agility.
- Lead digital transformation and automation in supply chain processes.
2.2 Demand & Supply Planning
- Oversee demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure product availability.
- Balance inventory levels with service level targets.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align demand plans.
2.3 Procurement & Supplier Management
- Lead sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure cost optimization and risk mitigation in supply base.
2.4 Manufacturing & Operations
- Oversee production planning and manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency.
2.5 Logistics & Distribution
- Manage warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks.
- Optimize logistics costs and delivery performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
2.6 Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Set KPIs and monitor performance across functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
3. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields (MBA is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in supply chain transformation and optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data analytics.
