Primary ResponsibilitiesSupplier Performance & Quality Assurance
- Own and manage end-to-end supplier quality performance, ensuring alignment with defined quality standards and expectations.
- Conduct regular supplier assessments, audits, and performance reviews; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers, ensuring root causes are addressed and results are sustained.
Quality Frameworks & Process Control
- Deploy and maintain quality management frameworks, ensuring consistent application across supplier operations.
- Establish, review, and enhance quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Track quality KPIs, analyze defect trends, and translate data into improvement actions.
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and CI initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and operational cost.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools such as PDCA, A3, Kaizen, and Value Engineering.
- Lead cross-functional CI projects, from problem definition through implementation and performance validation.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC and CI team members to build strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Customer & Quality Issue Management
- Act as the escalation point for major quality issues and customer complaints.
- Coordinate investigations, ensure timely containment, and oversee effective CAPA execution.
- Share lessons learned internally and with suppliers to prevent recurrence.
New Product & Change Management
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes by ensuring supplier quality readiness.
- Participate in pre-production reviews, pilot builds, and risk assessments prior to mass production.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Operations) and regional quality functions.
- Align supplier quality activities with business objectives and regional/global requirements.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Continuous Improvement within large-scale manufacturing.
- 3+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of supplier quality management and production process control.
- Hands-on experience with Lean and CI tools: PDCA, A3, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, 6S, Standard Work.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Solid understanding of document control, audits, and KPI-driven management.
- Proven project management and data analysis skills.
- Results-oriented leader with strong coaching and influencing capability.
- Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable presenting data-driven insights and improvement plans.
- English communication skills are preferred.
Work Environment
- Regular travel to supplier sites; occasional international travel may be required.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring adaptability and structured problem solving.
