Position Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Reporting to: QC Manager (Hong Kong)

Role Objectives
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) ensures suppliers consistently deliver products that meet Moose's quality, safety, and manufacturing standards through process control, production line audit, critical check points and workflow evaluation. The role proactively identifies quality risks, preventive actions and solve potential issues early to minimize inspection defect rate, reducing cost and saving time.
Skills And Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Quality Management or a related discipline.
- Certificates in quality management is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferrably in the toy industry.
- Good command of English and Mandarin.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, factories and internal cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite reviews of manufacturing specifications, work instructions, and workflow diagrams.
- Conduct walkthroughs of vendor facilities, observe the manufacturing environment, and evaluate production line procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure the factory maintains high production standards and meets Moose's requirements.
- Audit checkpoints in the production line and validate the jigs and fixtures.
- Inspect and evaluate incoming supplies and components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and defect investigations in collaboration with the factory.
- Monitor defect rates in the production line, track quality trends, and guide the factory in implementing improvements.
- Maintain a comprehensive SQE report system.
- Support statistical process control by reviewing all inline data from the factory and implementing improvements.
- Offer technical guidance and recommendations to the factory.
- Act as a liaison between Moose's management and vendors to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide feedback to the VSE team to support the vendor selection process.

Work Hours
Standard office hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, plus reasonable additional hours.
