- MOLEX, a brand under KOCH Industries with its headquarters in Wichita, Kansas (USA), is one of the world's leading interconnector manufacturers.
- Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Position Overview
To assist department Manager to take in charge of quality in Molex's suppliers so as to make sure of the operation achieving quality, productivity and output goals and improve suppliers quality.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all suppliers meet Molex's quality standard.
Involve performing inspections and audits on the supplier's manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products.
Mornitor components, finished goods quality performance of suppliers.
Control and improve components scraps, material consumption, inspection cost.
Works with suppliers for components, finished goods quality issue and improvement.
Training and coaching suppliers for component specifications, standards, machines and instrument set-up and operations. Limit samples preparation and submit for approval.
Participate quality meetings in plant and with suppliers, vendors and reports. Take part of defect analysis, abnormality report, follow up actions, customer complain and claim, sorting, PFMEA.
Take part for trial run, transfer components, products and new product development.
Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures and requirement in terms of:
- 7S & KAIZEN
- Environmental Health Safety
- RBA & Social Responsibility
- Protection of company assets
Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.
PREFERRED:
- Experienced in Electrical and Electronics Product or related industry
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- At least 4 years experiences in manufacturing companies
