The Costing Supervisor will lead the assigned costing team and report to Costing Director. The Supervisor will play a key role in product costing, analysis, modeling and reporting. This role will work closely with both internal teams and manufacturing partners as a key stakeholder in the product creation process, analyze and establish style family and product cost forecasting model to ensure profitability, transparency, and predictability. This role can be located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam or in Bangkok, Thailand.
What You'll Do:
- Manage responsible factories product costing
- Contribute to FOB and margin of each key projects (Inline, PROMO, SMU, etc)
- Build strong relationships with Sourcing, Costing, Product and Buying teams as well as Suppliers
- Ensure all relevant costing systems are maintained, partnering with relevant stakeholders
- Evolve seasonal cost reporting process to help support margin and business planning. Lead efforts for automation where possible
- Manage team members by providing clear goals and creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities through development
- Effectively manage and coordinate activities related to the Product Pricing or Seasonal Pricing process, ensure product CBDs are being analyzed and validated on time
- Actively promote best practices across the costing organization
- Influence sourcing decisions, by creating transparency of landed cost optimization to ensure the best possible outcome
- Offer product cost optimization suggestions. Identify and implement new practices and processes
- Ensure efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information within the JR286 internal team
- Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
- Other duties as assigned
What to Bring:
- Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience in manufacture industry and at least 10 years of costing experience
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs
- Knowledgeable in sporting goods product development, production processes, and best practices is a plus
- Highly developed analytical strengths; a keen ability for identifying and solving problems with logic mindset
- Ability to adapt and evolve in a continuously changing environment
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Data Science tools (Power BI, Python, etc) and Data Visualization is a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English
