JOB OVERVIEW
The Student Success & Recruitment Specialist is a hybrid role that combines student success management with recruitment responsibilities, with a primary focus on the Vietnam region. Based in Vietnam, you will serve as the key liaison between Amerigo's sales, operations, and academic teams, ensuring the student experience aligns with our organizational mission.
Reporting to the Regional Director of Recruitment, the Student Success & Recruitment Specialist will drive assigned enrollment targets and provide support for the students recruited. The role's responsibilities include servicing agents who promote our high school programs in the United States, UK and Canada, while ensuring compliance with both Vietnamese and U.S. regulations. This role is also critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of student recruitment, ensuring that only genuine, qualified students are recommended for our programs.
In addition, the role will extend to providing essential post-sales support for students, such as visa processing, enrollment, and enhancing the student experience during their stay with Amerigo schools. The Specialist will work closely with campus teams to support students, counselors, Bps and families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Enrollment
Deliver enrollment targets for Amerigo high school programs.
Support our agent network in promoting programs in the U.S. , UK and Canada by advising student counselors on center capacity, admissions requirements, and program suitability.
Provide customer service support to our agent network via phone, in person, and online.
Actively follow up with business partners student counselors regarding individual applicants and student issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in both Vietnam and the U.S., across both internal processes and agency partner practices.
Maintain the quality of student applicants with strong attention to compliance.
Attending student fairs and various recruitment events.
Translate school information and documents from English to Vietnamese, based on market needs.
Send regular newsletters and promotional materials to target clients.
Provide daily support to agency partners and individual families for inquiries.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Student Experience & Success
Develop and deliver pre-departure orientations for students and parents.
Collaborate with campus operations, host families, sales, admissions, academics, business partners, and parents to resolve student experience and success issues.
Record and track all student-related concerns.
Maintain proactive communication with Amerigo families to ensure a positive experience and resolve issues promptly.
Support the development and delivery of parent engagement programming (e.g., newsletters, webinars).
Lead or co-lead parent-teacher conferences for assigned students.
Collaborate with the regional recruitment team to facilitate online or in-person parent engagement events.
Support re-enrollment efforts by gathering insights and analyzing data on student performance and satisfaction.
Take on other projects or responsibilities as needed, related to student retention and parent engagement.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-Year University
4-5 years of experience in the international education industry within a student- and parent-facing role
Strong written and oral capability in Vietnamese and English
Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings when needed
Demonstrated ability to taking a diplomatic and balanced approach to emotional situations
Ability to help others from diverse cultures who have various levels of English proficiency
Proficiency with technology and reporting programs/systems, Salesforce experience a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a cross-cultural environment
Exemplary customer service skills and ability to foster a customer service ethic within the work team
