OPPORTUNITY
At VinUniversity, our mission is to create the first world-class student affairs office in Vietnam with an aim to provide the best experience to our students and the parents.
We are seeking a Student Services Officer to support the coordination and implementation of key student services initiatives, including student services programs, digital enablement, and operational projects within Student Affairs. The Officer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of student services that contribute to student success and cohesive campus experience.
The role plays an important part in coordinating cross-unit efforts related to student services, supporting the ongoing implementation of the OASIS curriculum, and facilitating the use of student-facing digital platforms to enhance service accessibility and efficiency.
The Student Services Officer will also support the Student Affairs Manager in operational planning, policy coordination, and the continuous improvement of student services, contributing to consistent and high-quality experience for students.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Student Services Programs & OASIS Curriculum
Coordinate the ongoing implementation of the OASIS curriculum with academic and student-facing units.
Track implementation progress, participation, and timelines.
Support alignment between OASIS activities and broader student success initiatives.
2. Digital Student Services Coordination
Coordinate the implementation and improvement of student-facing digital platforms related to advising, student success, and service delivery.
Coordinate the documentation and visualization of core student service processes and digital touchpoints.
Liaise with IT teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure platforms are user-friendly, functional, and aligned with student needs.
Support student adoption and basic reporting on platform usage.
3. Merchandise Project
Coordinate the planning and implementation of student merchandise initiatives.
Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors on timelines, branding, and logistics.
Maintain basic documentation and tracking related to the merchandise project.
4. Policy Coordination & Internal Operations
Coordinate the consolidation of inputs from relevant units to support policy development and updates.
Track internal staff training activities and follow up as needed.
Support documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks for student services operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
1-3 years of relevant experience in student services, student affairs, higher education administration, or operational roles in an academic environment.
Experience working with student-related systems, digital platforms, or project coordination is preferred.
Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and with attention to detail, remain eager to learn and open to guidance and feedback, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with calmness, self-awareness, respect, and empathy, while maintaining a positive outlook, particularly in high-pressure or ambiguous situations
Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
