Structural Revit Technician (Remote Vietnam)

About the Role

We are looking for a Structural Revit / BIM Modeller to join our client's structural engineering team.

The successful candidate will work remotely from Vietnam, supporting structural engineers in Ireland on live projects. Projects may include industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, data centres, technology facilities, semiconductor / cleanroom projects, as well as commercial and residential developments.

This is an opportunity to gain international experience and work directly with a professional Irish consultancy on real engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural Revit models for concrete and steel structures, including beams, columns, slabs, walls, foundations and general structural elements.

• Prepare GA drawings, sections, structural details and drawing packages under engineer supervision.

• Implement revisions based on engineer mark-ups, sketches, calculations and design comments.

• Work within federated BIM models and coordinate the structural model with architectural, MEP and other discipline models.

• Assist with clash review, model coordination and drawing updates using BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud where required.

• Assist with reinforcement layouts, steelwork details, connection details and structural drawing updates.

• Maintain model organisation, drawing standards, file naming, revisions and project documentation.

Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years experience in structural drafting, BIM modelling or Revit modelling.

• Strong proficiency in Revit Structure is essential.

• Experience working with federated models and coordinating with other disciplines.

• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks or similar coordination platforms is an advantage.

• Experience producing structural drawings from engineer comments, mark-ups and redlines.

• Understanding of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel buildings.

• Experience on large or technical projects such as factories, industrial buildings, data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor / cleanroom projects or high-specification facilities is an advantage.

• Exposure to international or European design standards is an advantage. Eurocode familiarity would be beneficial.

• Good English communication and ability to work remotely with overseas engineers.

Employment Details

Location: Remote – Vietnam

Working hours: Initially 15:00 – 23:30 Vietnam time, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be possible later depending on project requirements.

Salary: 20,000,000 – 35,000,000 VND/month, depending on experience, English level and technical fit.

Employment type: Full-time employment contract in Vietnam.

Reports to: Senior Structural Engineer / Design Manager in Ireland.
