DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Project Delivery (40%)
Structural Analysis & Design
- Analyse building structures to international codes and standards (Eurocode, ACI, TCVN) under supervision of Senior Engineer or Team Leader.
- Prepare structural models and calculations using structural design software and spreadsheets.
- Prepare structural calculation reports in English and Vietnamese to company standards.
- Create structural drawings and sketches as assigned.
- Keep the Team Leader informed of workload status and flag any deadline risks in advance.
Documentation & Correspondence
- Correspond with team members in Vietnamese and English.
- Prepare and maintain structural calculation reports and documentation to company standards.
2.Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration (30%)
Team Collaboration
- Work with and support structural BIM Engineers in the preparation of design drawings.
- Check that structural requirements from analysis reports have been correctly implemented in drawings and models.
- Review MEP-related openings and evaluate structural impact under Senior Engineer guidance.
- Maintain high levels of communication and teamwork with Structural Drafters.
- Work alongside Project Managers to support day-to-day project running.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, aligned with architectural drawings, and conform to design code standards.
- Support the Sales Team in estimation of design works for proposals as directed.
3.Investigation & Quality Assurance (20%)
QA/QC
- Assist in structural surveys and building investigations under supervision of a Senior Engineer.
- Self-review own designs and calculations before submission; address feedback from Senior Engineers and Team Leader promptly.
- Follow internal QA/QC procedures strictly and ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards.
4.Training & Development (10%)
Self-Development
- Attend regular company training sessions and complete assigned learning modules.
- Provide career development plans to line manager and present results regularly.
- Stay updated with structural engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0–3 years of experience in structural engineering; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Foundational knowledge of structural analysis and design codes (Eurocode, ACI, or TCVN).
- Familiarity with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, RFEM, or equivalent).
- Basic proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good English reading and writing skills; ability to prepare technical reports in English.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a professional engineering environment.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
