The Strategy & Investment Associate supports senior team members in delivering the company's corporate strategy and investment activities. The role involves conducting in-depth research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to guide key business and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Analysis & Due Diligence
- Research companies, industries, and market trends to evaluate investment opportunities and associated risks.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and recommendations with supporting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
2. Financial Modelling & Valuation
- Develop an understanding of the business model e.g. its revenue logic, cost drivers, and value creation levers, etc. to form data-driven hypotheses and strategic assumptions.
- Build dynamic financial models that clearly communicate underlying assumptions and link business logic to financial outcomes.
- Incorporate scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to test different strategic directions, market conditions, and operating levers.
- Perform return and risk analysis to evaluate investment attractiveness and inform strategic decision-making.
3. Market Intelligence & Research
- Conduct market sizing, competitive landscape mapping, and thematic research to identify emerging trends.
- Prepare concise research reports and presentations for senior management.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities
4. Project Management & Strategic Support
- Drive the development and maintenance of management dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to track strategic initiatives, KPIs, and project performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of strategic initiatives.
- Develop project trackers and dashboards to provide clear visibility on progress and outcomes
- Provide analytical support for ad-hoc strategic requests
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in investment research, FP&A, consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI or similar tools is an advantage
- Excellent research, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data in strategic context.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple workstreams independently.
- CFA charterholder or currently pursuing the CFA designation is a strong plus.
