The Strategic Brand & External Relations Lead is a senior strategic role within the Founder's Office, responsible for shaping and protecting company brand positioning, building a non-sales partner ecosystem, and driving high-impact strategic communications.
Role Overview
This position is accountable for ensuring that Kompa is correctly perceived by key stakeholders, including:
- Enterprise clients
- Strategic ecosystem partners
- Media and industry associations
- Government and institutional bodies
- Investor communities
The role focuses on opening strategic doors that traditional sales cannot access, rather than closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define and maintain company positioning as an AI-native intelligence platform
- Develop the company's master narrative, messaging architecture, and value proposition
- Ensure consistent brand voice across all channels
- Lead strategic positioning for product launches (e.g., Geo Monitoring, Seller Intelligence Dashboard)
- Drive presence and visibility on AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity)
- Provide strategic direction to the Marcom team
2. External Relations & Ecosystem Partnerships
- Build and manage strategic non-sales partnerships, including:
- Data partners (e.g., research firms, intelligence platforms)
- Industry alliances and associations
- Government and institutional stakeholders
- Represent Kompa at high-level industry forums and associations
- Enable regional expansion through ecosystem building
3. Strategic Communication
- Shape the public presence of the Founder
- Build a thought leadership platform (articles, interviews, speaking engagements)
- Manage media relationships (e.g., business and tech publications)
- Lead communications for:
- Product launches
- Strategic partnerships
- Market expansion announcements
- Develop and manage a crisis communication framework
- Drive award nominations and industry recognition
4. Strategic Growth Support
- Generate qualified strategic opportunities through brand and relationships
- Hand over opportunities to Sales/GTM for deal closure
- Support engagement with key enterprise accounts
5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a cross-functional strategic leader (without direct operational ownership)
- Collaborate with:
- Founder & Acting CEO (strategic direction)
- GTM/Sales (opportunity handover)
- Marcom (brand execution guidance)
- Product team (market positioning inputs)
- Mentor internal teams on brand thinking
