Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role oversees daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring visual merchandising standards align with brand guidelines. The Store Manager monitors sales performance, implements promotional activities, and manages inventory levels to support revenue and profitability targets. They lead and coach the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves handling escalated customer issues, enforcing retail loss prevention procedures, and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
I. JOB OBJECTIVE
- Take overall responsibility for managing the store's business operations, ensuring sales performance, operational efficiency, customer service quality, and brand image are maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Lead, manage, and develop the store team to achieve business objectives while fostering a positive and professional working environment.
II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Management
- Develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans; analyze sales performance and propose action plans to improve store performance.
- Implement and monitor individual sales targets and KPIs for store employees.
- Supervise the customer consultation, product recommendation, and sales closing processes at the store.
2. Store Operations Management
- Control inventory levels and monitor stock receiving, stock movement, and periodic stocktaking.
- Ensure product displays comply with Visual Merchandising standards.
- Inspect equipment and store facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained shopping environment.
- Manage cash funds, sales invoices, and other documents related to store operations.
- Manage and monitor stockroom organization and operations; provide training on stockroom procedures and order picking for new employees.
- Manage and ensure sales invoices and sales revenue comply with the Company's current promotional programs and policies.
- Receive, handle, and report after-sales service issues and customer complaints to the direct supervisor when necessary.
3. People Management
- Recruit, train, assign tasks to, and evaluate the performance of store employees. Foster a positive working environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Organize internal training sessions on product knowledge, sales skills, customer service, and operational procedures as required by supporting departments (e.g., loyalty programs, payment systems, etc.). Ensure employees comply with and complete all required training programs.
- Resolve internal conflicts within the store team when necessary.
- Provide career guidance and develop training and development plans for direct reports.
4. Brand Image Management
- Ensure employees comply with uniform and grooming standards and maintain a professional working style.
- Ensure consistency of the brand image at the point of sale, including product displays, sound, lighting, scent, and other relevant elements.
- Implement in-store communication and marketing activities according to the Company's plans and guidelines.
5. Reporting and Coordination
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, staffing, and inventory, while maintaining regular communication and updates with the Brand Operations Team.
- Work closely with the Warehouse, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, E-commerce, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- College degree or above; preferably majoring in Business Administration, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Store Manager position within fashion retail or a related industry.
- Strong management, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication and excellent customer service skills.
- Good understanding of fashion products, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail/store management systems.
