About the Role:
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the design, construction, and maintenance of UNIQLO stores across Vietnam. The position is ideal for candidates with solid experience in construction project execution and coordination, who are eager to further develop in a fast-paced and international retail environment. You will be primarily responsible for construction execution (70%), while also supporting store design (10%) and maintenance (20%) to ensure store quality, functionality, and continuous operational improvement. In this role, you are expected to take strong ownership of projects and act as a key coordinator across internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities:
1. Construction Execution & Site Coordination:
- Conduct site walkthroughs and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead day-to-day construction execution for new store openings and renovation projects.
- Support final inspections and handovers to store operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
2. Maintenance & Store Improvement:
- Manage minor maintenance and improvement works for existing stores (e.g. layout adjustments, spare parts replacement, minor construction works).
- Support implementation of small-scale changes and updates from Global HQ.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to execute maintenance tasks efficiently and within budget.
3. Design Support
- Support development and adjustment of store layouts and architectural drawings.
- Ensure design outputs align with operational requirements and brand requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to finalize layout approvals.
4. Project Coordination & Documentation for Cost & Quality Control:
- Act as the main PIC for project coordination and documentation management across projects including tracking project expenses and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage and maintain accurate project documentation including permits, contracts, and internal approval processes.
- Lead and organize the internal Procurement-related processes, including vendor communication, follow-ups, and assistance in selecting construction materials and verifying quality.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in retail store design and construction project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of building structures, MEP systems, and fire safety regulations.
- Strong project coordination & management, documentation management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to take ownership of project execution and drive tasks independently.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders (contractors, consultants, internal teams).
- Good command of business English.
- Ability to travel frequently.
