Job Description

With extensive industry partnerships and a strong track record in delivering high-quality manpower solutions, PVD Training is currently recruiting on behalf of a top-tier client in the Oil & Gas industry.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Static Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and reliability operations within a dynamic and international-standard working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute maintenance activities for static equipment to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Manage preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance through CMMS systems.
  • Provide technical support through equipment performance analysis and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
  • Act as Technical Authority for lifting equipment, Safety Critical Elements (SCE), Management of Change (MOC), Operational Risk Assessment (ORA), and maintenance deferrals.
  • Supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies, FAT/SAT activities, and commissioning processes.
  • Manage spare parts planning and maintenance scheduling.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and maintenance contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability programs.

Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of static equipment maintenance, CMMS, SCE, MOC, ORA, RCFA, HAZID/HAZOP, and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT).
  • Experience in both operations and project/design environments is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in contractor supervision and management is preferred.
