About the Role
The Senior Manager - Logistics Projects will be responsible for leading the execution of operational tasks related to assigned logistics projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate resources, and serve as the key point of contact for clients and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Plan and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with policies, regulations, and client requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols through regular briefings and inspections.
- Report and resolve safety or compliance issues quickly.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams during project execution.
- Provide regular updates, ensuring client satisfaction and transparency.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Introduce tailored logistics solutions and prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
- Maintain client relationships and actively work to close opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress, challenges, and performance.
- Participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in project operations or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and logistics workflows.
- Fluent communication skills in Fluent English both written and spoken.
