Role Description The Sr. Java Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and microservices that support enterprise platforms and mission-critical systems. The Sr. Java Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure high performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and optimizing existing services. The role also includes mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and following best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Java/J2EE.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience, including designing and building enterprise applications.
• Candidates should possess hands-on expertise with JBoss, Spring Framework and related Spring-based technologies.
• Candidates should possess experience in Microservices architecture, including building, deploying, and maintaining distributed services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and integration with enterprise systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with several years of relevant Java development experience.
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively with global teams.
