Job Description
- Federated Strategy: Design governance models that respect the various of each units while enforcing non-negotiable ecosystem standards.
- Operationalize Exchange: Partner with Legal and InfoSec to translate complex data-access standards into technical controls and automated workflows.
- Define Standards: Establish the common language of the ecosystem, including master data standards, ontologies, and cross-organizational metadata management.
- Policy Enforcement: Define RBAC/ABAC policies and maintain Chinese Wall separations to ensure data privacy and diverse integrity between partners.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor SLAs for data quality, holding all ecosystem participants accountable for the integrity of the data they contribute.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: 10+ years in Data Management, with 4+ years specifically in a stewardship role focused on Governance or MDM.
- Complex Environments: A proven track record in conglomerates, supply chain networks, or financial exchanges where influence is required without direct authority.
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of global and local privacy laws (GDPR, PDP, CCPA) and consumer consent management.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with modern Data Catalogs (Collibra, Alation, Purview) and architecting interoperable data fabrics.
