SCOPE OF WORK
Specialist, Gaming System Support is responsible for the strategic alignment, operational excellence, and technical oversight of gaming systems, with a strong emphasis on gaming technologies. This role ensures system reliability, compliance, and performance optimization while fostering a high-performance culture within the IT team.
This position requires manage gaming systems and lead the development and implementation of solutions and products that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Strategic Alignment & Leadership
- Align gaming system projects with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Contribute to long-term departmental planning and system roadmaps.
- Promote organizational values and culture through leadership.
2. System Maintenance & Uptime
- Ensure continuous support and maintenance of gaming systems.
- Achieve and maintain 99.99% system uptime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system scalability and fault tolerance.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate system integration maps and architectural documentation.
- Complete annual recovery testing for gaming systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and external audit standards.
4. Knowledge Transfer & Training
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across Business Analysts and service desk teams.
- Organize training sessions to enhance technical skills and system understanding.
5. Vendor Management & Risk Mitigation
- Manage relationships with gaming vendors and monitor SLAs.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology adoption.
6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Provide regular reports on system performance, utilization, and security.
- Evaluate and optimize business processes for improved value delivery.
7. Operational Excellence
- Enforce IT policies and implement best practices.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and system records.
8. Team Development
- Lead and mentor IT team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
9. Other Duties
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in gaming systems support or IT operations within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of gaming technologies, compliance requirements, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with casino management systems and gaming regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Strong communication skills in English.
