We are looking to fill a new position with in our Hanoi office in February2026 with an
Specialist Engineer for High-Voltage Power Transmission and Cable Systems (all genders)
Your Tasks:
- Planning and designing high-voltage and extra high-voltage cable systems with an emphasis on surveying, line routing, cable design, construction execution and construction logistics
- Preparing requirements specifications (tender texts, specifications, data sheets, drawings and layouts)
- Reviewing planning documents and design review
- Comparing functional specifications versus requirements specifications and evaluating bids
Your Profile:
- Electrical engineer with experience in planning, constructing or operating high-voltage and extra high-voltage cable systems
- Several years of experience as an engineer in the field of power transmission
- Project management experience would be desirable
- Experience in the consulting or cable manufacturer sector would be ideal
- Experience in working with development banks, governments and authorities would be an advantage
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Willingness to undertake short-term assignments worldwide
- Work permit for Vietnam is a must
