Job Description

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Work Location: 9A Ton Duc Thang, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday.
  • Salary: Negotiable and competitive, based on capability and experience.
  • Start Date: Immediate availability.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop overall design concepts for museum spaces and exhibition areas,ensuring a coherent visitor experience aligned with the exhibition content and overall identity.
  • Design exhibition graphics, information panels, maps, wayfinding, object labels, and visitor interaction points.
  • Design and develop display elements such as plinths, cases, partitions, modular structures, backdrops, and large-format graphics; recommend appropriate materials, colors, and finishes.
  • Translate curatorial content into clear, engaging, and accessible visual storytelling for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with curatorial, architecture, lighting, technical, communications, and contractor teams to ensure designs are produced and installed as intended.
  • Prepare drawings, technical specifications, and print/production files; review prototypes, check quality, and support on-site fabrication and installation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable design role. Experience in exhibitions, museums, cultural spaces, retail, or environmental design is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, or 3D visualization software is an advantage.
  • Strong spatial-design thinking, with an understanding of scale, visitor flow, legibility, information hierarchy, and visitor experience.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop concepts, interpret content, present design proposals, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams while meeting schedule, budget, and technical requirements throughout design, production, and installation.
  • A portfolio of exhibition or spatial-design work is preferred. Illustration, 3D visualization, motion graphics, or interactive-content design skills are an advantage.
