Wicom is seeking a Sourcing & Supply Chain Team Leader to build and lead our growing team. At this early stage, we are looking beyond professional expertise for someone who shares our values, thrives in our culture, and is ready to grow with Wicom in the long term.

What You Will Do:

Lead a team of 2–3 Sourcing & Supply Chain members and oversee end-to-end operations, from supplier sourcing to supply chain optimization.

a. Sourcing

  • Receive product requirements from the Research and Development team and analyze the market, competitors, pricing, and product standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop a reliable supplier network, particularly in China.
  • Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and contract terms.
  • Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers.

b. Procurement

  • Manage the entire procurement process, from purchase order placement to warehouse delivery.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
  • Oversee pre-shipment quality control.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize shipping costs and transit times.
  • Resolve issues related to purchase orders, product quality, and delivery.
  • Manage supplier payables and payment schedules.

c. Supply Chain

  • Manage inventory and replenishment planning to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Analyze data to optimize the cost of goods sold and operational expenses.
  • Develop reporting systems for quality, lead times, and costs.
  • Ensure key operational metrics, including inventory, fulfillment, and lead time, meet established targets.

d. Team Building and Management

  • Develop and optimize workflows within the department, across internal functions and with external partners to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop a supplier network strategy to optimize the cost of goods sold and supplier payment terms.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the team at each stage of growth in alignment with the company's business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant departments, including Research and Development and Marketing, to ensure timely information sharing and continuously improve cross-functional workflows.

What You Will Need:

  • Possess a strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain management processes, with at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate professional proficiency in English across listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Proficiency in Chinese equivalent to HSK4 or above is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate sharp analytical and logical thinking.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and show a strong commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Data analysis skills for decision-making. Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools is an advantage).
  • Demonstrate strong team leadership and team-building capabilities

Working hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:30 PM–5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, two Saturdays p
