  • Benefit from a workplace culture that values knowledge-sharing, teamwork, and ongoing professional development within a globally recognised industry leader.

What you'll do:

As a Sourcing Manager based at the Long An plant, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of sourcing activities for specific material categories critical to manufacturing operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both local teams and global colleagues as you implement sourcing strategies tailored to the Vietnamese market. You will be instrumental in identifying reliable suppliers who meet stringent quality criteria while also negotiating favourable terms that support cost efficiency. By conducting thorough audits and maintaining comprehensive records of supplier agreements and performance data, you will help ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies as well as timely delivery schedules. Your ability to foster strong supplier relationships will be essential in resolving challenges quickly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, your input will be vital during new product development cycles as you work alongside engineering and quality teams on sample validation processes. This role offers significant scope for professional development as you contribute directly to both operational excellence and strategic decision-making within a globally respected organisation.

  • Act as the local representative for the global sourcing category team by executing sourcing strategies developed at the international level and adapting them to fit local market conditions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of localisation strategies for assigned categories within Vietnam, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for raw materials, components, packaging, or other assigned categories by assessing quality standards, cost structures, market trends, risk factors, and delivery performance.
  • Manage requests for quotation (RFQ), negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings while upholding rigorous quality standards.
  • Conduct on-site process audits and tests to validate supplier capabilities and component compliance with both local regulations and global company requirements.
  • Coordinate supplier assessments and compliance audits; prepare detailed assessment reports and work closely with suppliers to secure necessary certifications.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains; proactively resolve any issues related to quality or delivery timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and databases; collaborate with Supplier Quality Management (SQM) teams and buyers to drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as production, quality assurance, planning, engineering, and new product introduction (NPI) to support successful product launches.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiations, re-engineering projects, supplier consolidation efforts, and by supporting localisation strategies for relevant categories.
