The role:
This position will oversee and coordinate sustainability and environmental compliance for finished goods, ensuring adherence to global regulations and company standards. It will focus on interpreting and implementing requirements from emerging environmental legislation, such as the ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation), while driving initiatives that improve product sustainability. The role will collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain compliance accuracy, uphold data integrity, and foster continuous improvement in sustainability practices.

The role you'd play:
Regulatory Compliance & Data Management
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with ESPR, Green Claims requirements, and other evolving environmental standards for finished goods by managing data collection, validating Transaction Certificates against purchase orders.
- Manage compliance workflows on the traceability platform, ensuring full traceability, data integrity, and timely, accurate data entry and validation.
- Maintain compliance checklists and comprehensive documentation, monitor progress against sustainability requirements, and prepare accurate reports to meet both internal and regulatory standards.
Vendor Engagement & Collaboration
- Monitor Transaction Certificate submission status for Tier 1 vendors, ensuring timely uploads to the traceability platform, and collaborate with internal teams to support Tier 1 coordination with Tier 2 for compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to vendors on Transaction Certificate submission processes and compliance expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Materials, Positive Business, and Legal, to align processes with sustainability and Green Claim requirements.
- Communicate with vendors regarding implementation of the company's Positive Business initiatives.
Vendor Compliance
- Assist Sourcing Compliance Manager on vendor compliance & management, including documentation collection for vendor setup, preparation of vendor authorization letters, and maintenance of customs and legal databases.
- Provide administrative support to the SVP Global Sourcing, VP Global Sourcing, and Sourcing Compliance Manager for day-to-day and ad hoc projects.
- Plan and coordinate business meetings, visits, webinars, and conferences with internal and external parties.
- Support travel arrangements for the SVP and VP Global Sourcing.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties for assigned projects.
- Provide general administrative support to the sourcing team and administer departmental processes.
The must haves:
- Degree or Diploma graduate in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of working experience, in regulatory compliance, sourcing, or sustainability programs, preferably within a global supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations such as ESPR, the Green Claims Directive, and sustainability frameworks.
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and reporting skills preferably from SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong data management skills, including validation and reporting.
- Ability to use AI tools for data validation and accuracy checks within compliance workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging vendors and internal teams in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate compliance records.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset to address compliance gaps and improve efficiency using AI-assisted tools.
- Accuracy & detailed oriented and able to work under pressure & deadlines.
