Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are looking for 2 Solution Architects (SA) to join FPT US and work on large-scale international projects, with a strong focus on modern software architecture, cloud-native technologies, and AI/LLM applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, technical experts, and customers to design scalable solutions, drive technical excellence, and introduce AI-powered solutions into software development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define end-to-end software architecture for enterprise-scale systems.
• Work with engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Define architecture principles, technology choices, design patterns, and integration approaches.
• Provide technical guidance to Software Engineers and Technical Leads throughout the SDLC.
• Drive adoption of modern practices including CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, automation, and DevOps.
• Explore and apply AI/LLM technologies to improve software development, engineering productivity, and business workflows.
• Prototype AI solutions such as AI agents, automations, RAG applications, and intelligent workflows.
• Evaluate AI solutions from the perspectives of performance, reliability, security, and responsible AI.
• Influence technical decisions and drive engineering teams toward better architecture and development practices.
• Conduct technical sharing, mentoring, and training for engineering teams.

Qualifications

Technical Background

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, SDLC, CI/CD, cloud-native development, design patterns, distributed systems, and system integration.
• Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

AI/LLM Skills

• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools or platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face, or LangChain.
• Understanding of context engineering, RAG, model evaluation, AI safety, and responsible AI.
• Ability to prototype AI-powered solutions such as AI Agents, automation, intelligent workflows, and RAG applications.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence technical decisions, mentor engineers, and drive technical change.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
