Role Description The Solution Architect, Cloud & AI is a full-time hybrid role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for designing end-to-end cloud and AI solution architectures that align with customer business objectives and technical environments. The Solution Architect collaborates closely with consulting, engineering, and DevSecOps teams to assess requirements, define reference architectures, and guide implementation across cloud platforms and integrations. Day-to-day activities include engaging with clients to understand use cases, conducting technical assessments, producing high-quality design documents, and overseeing solution delivery to ensure performance, security, and scalability. The role also involves providing technical leadership, supporting pre-sales activities, and continuously evaluating emerging cloud and AI technologies to improve CloudThinker's offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing scalable, secure cloud and AI solutions and defining technical roadmaps.
- Consulting experience with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on Software Development experience in relevant languages and frameworks for cloud-native and AI-powered applications.
- Integration skills covering APIs, microservices, and data pipelines to connect cloud services and enterprise systems.
- Understanding of Business Process analysis and optimization to ensure solutions support efficient and measurable workflows.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and common AI/ML services and frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., cloud architect certifications) are a plus.
