Role Overview:
The Mid-Level Solution Architect will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and delivery of cloud-based solutions using AWS services, with a focus on data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS tools, coupled with strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Cloud Architecture Support:
- Assist in designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with senior architects to implement AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Participate in cloud migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to AWS.
- Data Analytics Solutions:
- Support the design of data analytics solutions, including data lakes, data warehousing, and data pipeline architecture using AWS services like Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
- Help maintain and optimize data flows and analytics processes to ensure efficient data handling and reporting.
- Client Communication & Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients during project implementation, ensuring clear communication of project status and deliverables.
- Provide basic technical consulting and recommendations to improve AWS service adoption and data strategies.
- Solution Implementation & Documentation:
- Assist in implementing AWS services for data and cloud solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and are aligned with best practices.
- Create documentation for architecture designs, technical specifications, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and data engineers, to ensure successful delivery.
- Learning & Development:
- Continuously improve AWS and data analytics skills through on-the-job training and collaboration with senior architects.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS services and cloud technologies, ensuring the ability to provide updated solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in AWS: Foundational knowledge of AWS services and some hands-on experience in implementing basic cloud solutions (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Data Analytics Understanding: Some experience with data analytics workflows, data pipelines, or cloud-based data storage.
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work well within a team.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to assist in designing solutions based on client requirements.
- Eagerness to Learn: Enthusiastic about developing skills in cloud architecture, AWS, and data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AWS tools like Redshift, Athena, and Glue is a plus.
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
