Lead testing team for software development project
Work with client/team closely and participate in team activities/events
Perform all testing activities independently and effectively: test estimation, test planning, test strategy, test cases design, test execution, defects tracking, etc.
Understand automation frameworks, can maintain and use the automation framework to automate the new test cases
Collect data and report testing status
Show creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
Work with offshore team to communicate findings and coordinates bug resolution
Contribute to the QA processes by providing the team with recommendations related to QA deliverables and actively participates in process improvements
Mentor and train other team members
Qualifications
General requirements:
At least an intermediate skill level of English
Likely having 7+ years of experience in the software development, especially the software testing processes
Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
Familiar with the Agile development methodologies
Able to perform tasks under high pressure
Experience with managing testing team & working with US clients
Experience with defining/tailoring software testing process which can jointly be applied for the testing team & client's teams
Good human relation skills, ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Technical requirements:
Strong domain knowledge on web/ mobile/ desktop app testing expertise
Strong experiences on manual testing (requirement analysis, test strategy, test approach, test plan, test techniques included black box, risk-based, exploratory, Non-UI testing, etc.)
Experience on Automation testing, UI/API testing (Javascript)
Experience on using tools: Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA...
Excellent knowledge of software testing methodology, solid knowledge and experience applying Context Driven Testing is a big plus
Hands-on experience on setting up testing toolset and metrics
