Position Overview
Yamazen Vietnam is looking for a Junior CAD/CAM Software Sales Engineer to support and develop our manufacturing software business.
This position is suitable for a junior engineer with some experience using CAD/CAM software and CNC machines who would like to develop a career in technical sales.
The successful candidate will receive product and sales training and work together with Yamazen's sales and engineering teams to introduce software solutions to manufacturing customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote and sell CAD/CAM and manufacturing software to customers in Vietnam.
- Support sales of CAD/CAM manufacturing software.
- Visit customers together with Yamazen sales and engineering staff.
- Understand customer machining and programming requirements.
- Conduct basic CAD/CAM software demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations and follow up customer enquiries.
- Support software trials, evaluations and customer introductions.
- Find software opportunities within Yamazen's existing CNC customer base.
- Work with machine-tool sales staff to propose software together with new CNC machines.
- Coordinate technical questions with Yamazen engineers and software partners.
- Support exhibitions, seminars and customer events.
- Maintain customer and sales opportunity information.
- Develop knowledge of CAD/CAM, CNC machining and digital manufacturing technologies.
Requirements
- University or technical college education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Basic experience using CAD/CAM software.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining and CNC programming.
- Comfortable communicating with customers.
- Willing to learn sales and business development.
- Vietnamese language required.
- Basic working English or Japanese preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- Autodesk Fusion
- Esprit
- Mastercam
- Other CAD/CAM systems
- CNC milling or turning
- G-code / CNC programming
- CNC application engineering
Previous sales experience is not required.
