Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain our automated testing frameworks. In this role, you will work closely with development and product teams to automate test suites for web, mobile, and API applications, ensuring our software releases are reliable, scalable, and defect-free before reaching production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Development: Design, build, and extend robust, scalable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems.
  • Test Automation: Translate manual test cases and business requirements into clear, executable automated test scripts.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and retest software defects using tracking tools (e.g., Jira), collaborating with developers to accelerate bug resolution.
  • API Testing: Execute and automate RESTful API tests using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright.
  • Execution & Reporting: Run automated test suites, analyze failures, maintain test logs, and provide detailed quality metric reports to stakeholders.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, and stand-ups to define acceptance criteria and test strategies early in the lifecycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#....)
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with modern test frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
  • API Testing: Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
  • Database & Querying: Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data verification and test setup.

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 4+ years in Software Quality Control / Assurance, with at least 2 years dedicated to test automation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
