Purpose:
- To lead quality assurance function across all digital products.
- Responsible for defining QA strategy, managing resources, and implementing automated and manual testing methodologies to uphold product excellence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align QA with Agile development cycles, promote best practices, and ensure consistent quality standards across Yoma Fleet's technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and manage company-wide QA strategies and procedures for all products
- Lead Agile QA practices within Scrum teams to align quality assurance with development lifecycles
- Design and execute automated tests
- Utilize performance and testing tools (e.g., LambdaTest, Nightwatch, Appium, K6) to improve QA effectiveness
- Manage and optimize CI/CD testing processes using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline
- Lead and mentor a high-performing QA team to maintain excellence in testing and defect prevention
- Identify risks in project deliverables and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure QA processes are integrated into product development
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA practices to meet high-quality standards
- Maintain documentation for QA activities, findings, and achievements to support internal transparency and reporting
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading QA teams in dynamic, cross-functional environments
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., LambdaTest, Nightwatch, Appium, K6) and testing frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and how QA integrates within Agile teams
- Proficiency in basic programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript
- Detail-oriented with experience testing both web and mobile applications
- Strong communication skills for reporting, collaboration, and documentation
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring QA professionals
- Experience with project management tools like ClickUp is a plus
- Experience in the transportation or mobility sector is a bonus
Optional Qualifications:
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
- Exposure to test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
- Experience managing QA in regulated or compliance-heavy industries
- Familiarity with testing in microservices or distributed system architectures
