The Role

We're looking for a solid mid-level Software Engineer who can own features end to end and contribute confidently across the stack. You'll build scalable web applications for international, English-speaking clients, making sound day-to-day technical decisions with support from a senior-led, knowledge-sharing team.

This is a hands-on role. You'll take features from requirements to production, write maintainable code,

and lean on AI coding tools to move quickly — while applying the right guardrails and judgement around

what those tools produce.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain full-stack web applications across frontend and backend

Design and consume APIs — REST, GraphQL, tRPC, and gRPC

Develop responsive interfaces with React.js / Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui

Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to model and persist data

Deploy and operate applications on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms

Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, and similar) in your daily workflow, with appropriate

validation and quality controls

Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning

Collaborate with teammates and work with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Must-Haves — Technical

Strong proficiency in Node.js

Hands-on experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform

Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

Frontend development experience with:

– React.js / Next.js

– Tailwind CSS

– shadcn/ui

Designing and consuming APIs:

– RESTful APIs

– GraphQL

– tRPC

– gRPC

Understanding of software architecture and design patterns:

– Singleton

– Factory

– Decorator

– Pub/Sub

– Fan-out

– and similar patterns

AI-Assisted Development

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve productivity and

delivery speed. Expected capabilities:

• Practical experience using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding assistants

• Ability to explain and demonstrate your preferred AI-assisted development workflow

• Understanding of how to establish guardrails, validation mechanisms, and quality controls for AI-generated outputs

Must-Haves — Non-Technical

Fast learner who picks up new tools and concepts quickly

Strong team player who shares knowledge and supports teammates

Naturally curious and eager to explore new technologies

Good English communication, written and spoken

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Python

Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and Git workflows

Exposure to advanced AI tooling (MCP servers, custom LLM agents, OCR integration)

AWS certifications or equivalent cloud credentials

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Public portfolio or GitHub showcasing your work
