Software Engineer/Expert (Python/Go/Java)

Job overview

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the core

architecture behind our AI product platform. You will own complex technical domains, transform

ambiguous product requirements into scalable software architecture, and establish engineering

standards across the organization. This role focuses on software excellence rather than AI research,

requiring strong engineering fundamentals to build AI-native products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable domain models for AI workflows, agent executions, and media processing

pipelines.

• Define clean service boundaries and architecture across platform components.

• Lead architecture and design reviews to ensure maintainability and scalability.

• Drive performance, reliability, and scalability improvements across critical systems.

• Build reusable backend abstractions and developer platforms.

• Mentor engineers and establish software engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with AI, Product, and Platform teams to deliver robust AI product infrastructure.

• Own complex technical initiatives from architecture through production deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience with ownership of large-scale

production modules or platforms. 

• Exceptional candidates with 3+ years of hands-on AI Agent experience may be

considered if they have designed production-grade agent/workflow runtimes, agent

execution models, tool execution, memory/context systems, eval/observability

platforms, or media generation pipelines. 

• Strong expertise in system design, clean architecture, API design, database modeling,

distributed systems, asynchronous architectures, and testing strategies. 

• Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or equivalent backend/full-stack

technologies, with strong debugging skills and engineering leadership. 

• Strong signal: ownership of large-scale SaaS modules, workflow builders/editors,

platform rewrites, reliability/performance initiatives, or developer tooling. 

• Strong engineering judgment with the ability to balance abstraction, simplicity,

delivery speed, and long-term maintainability. 

• Bonus: experience building AI/Agent products, media pipelines, real-time

collaboration systems, open-source contributions, or startup 0→1 products.
