Key Responsibilities
Test System Development
- Develop automated test systems, internal tools, and test utilities using pure Python (without prebuilt automation frameworks).
- Collaborate with Senior Developers to investigate and resolve test-related issues.
- Maintain and update test documentation as needed.
- Perform verification testing for newly developed or updated test systems.
Test Release Support
- Assist in preparing and packaging test releases.
- Conduct release qualification testing (SQA testing).
- Execute release verification testing before deployment.
Factory & Field Support
- Deploy test systems to factory environments and provide basic training to engineers/operators.
- Monitor test execution in production and perform first-level failure analysis (FA).
- Collect and analyze test data related to RGM performance.
- Perform initial investigation of field issues and escalate when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as SDET, Test Engineer, or Python-based Test Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python, able to write clean, maintainable code without using existing automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SQA principles, release qualification, and test validation methods.
- Good understanding of testing fundamentals (unit, integration, system-level tests).
- Experience troubleshooting test issues, analyzing logs, and working with test environments.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to investigate test failures.
- Responsibility, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English.
