Overview

Pixel is a US-based creative agency working with leading consumer electronics and challenger brands. We're building a small, high-output creative team in HCMC to scale our video production. We need an editor who can work across the full spectrum from polished 3060 second commercial spots for high-end brand campaigns to fast-turnaround social content that stops the scroll. Much of our source material is English-language interviews, testimonials, product reviews, and dialog-heavy brand content so strong English comprehension is essential to cut accurately and with the right timing.

Responsibilities

  • Edit polished 3060 second commercial spots for high-end brand campaigns broadcast-quality finish, cinematic pacing, and premium feel
  • Edit short-form video content for paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) high volume, fast turnaround
  • Cut dialog-heavy content (interviews, testimonials, product reviews) with accurate pacing and narrative flow all source material is in English
  • Cut long-form assets (product launches, brand campaigns) into multiple platform-native edits
  • Apply motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design to elevate content across both commercial and social formats
  • Work from creative briefs and reference decks provided by the US creative team
  • Maintain organized project files and naming conventions for team handoffs
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback typically same-day or next-day revisions

Requirements

  • 24 years editing video content across commercial and social formats (agency, brand, or production house)
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong in After Effects for motion graphics and finishing
  • Strong portfolio required must show both polished commercial/brand campaign work and social-first content
  • High English proficiency (listening + reading) must be able to follow and edit English-language dialog, interviews, and testimonials without mistiming or losing meaning
  • Strong written English able to communicate clearly async with a US team
  • Understands platform specs and best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm equally comfortable with cinematic brand spots and fast-cut social edits

Nice to Have

  • Experience editing English-language interview or testimonial content specifically
  • Experience with AI video tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, etc.)
  • Basic sound design or audio mixing skills
  • Interest in consumer electronics, tech, or DTC brands
