ROLE PURPOSE

This role is responsible for developing, producing, and managing social content for Maison Marou and Marou Faiseurs De Chocolate across Facebook and Instagram, ensuring brand consistency, visual excellence, and strong audience engagement.

The Social Media Specialist contributes directly to Marou's brand storytelling and campaign executions through creative ideation, content creation, and cross-team collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1. Social Content Creation & Management

  • Develop and manage the monthly social media content plan for both brands, aligned with brand direction and campaign objectives.
  • Create engaging visual and written content (photos, videos, captions) that maintains and elevates the Marou visual vibe.
  • Design social assets for Facebook/Instagram posts, stories, reels, and campaign materials.
  • Conduct on-site shooting and filming for social content.

2. Production Coordination

  • Build creative briefs and work directly with external photography/production agencies.
  • Coordinate pre-production, shooting schedules, logistics, and communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure all delivered assets meet brand standards and campaign objectives.

3. Campaign Support & Cross-team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ideate and develop content directions for campaigns, collaborations, and seasonal launches.
  • Work closely with the Creative team to align visuals, art direction, and storytelling across channels.
  • Support overall brand communication efforts by suggesting content opportunities and new creative formats.

4. Social Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor, track, and analyse the performance of social media content (engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, sentiment, etc.).
  • Generate monthly performance reports with actionable insights and learnings.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and propose content or strategy optimizations based on data.
  • Keep up-to-date with platform algorithm changes, competitor performance, and social trends relevant to Marou.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Design, or related fields.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in Social Media or Content Creation.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook & Instagram platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to produce visual content (shooting, directing small-scale shoots, basic editing).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • English: Proficiency in English (write captions, communicate with internal teams and agencies/partners)

PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong visual and aesthetic sense is a plus.
  • Ability to edit videos for reels and short-form social content.
  • Copywriting skills, especially in crafting social captions and storytelling.
  • Experience working with production agencies or managing photo/video shoots.
  • Knowledge of chocolate, F&B, or premium lifestyle brands is a plus.

Working time: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Working location: Green Building, 160 Street B2, An Loi Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC.
